The diaconal community gathered on Saturday, September 7 at Saint-Martin Parish in Laval for its annual relaunch under the theme: The charitable mission of the permanent deacon in the diocese of Montreal. 

The Office for Cultural and Ritual Communities of the Archdiocese of Montreal, along with the Spanish Language Mission, was delighted to celebrate the 22nd Pilgrimage of Latin American Farm Workers this year.

The Archbishop of Montreal, Most Reverend Christian Lépine, warmly welcomes today’s appointment by Pope Francis of Most Reverend Alain Faubert, currently Auxiliary Bishop of Montreal, as Bishop of Valleyfield.
