The World Day for Consecrated Life, instituted by Pope John Paul II in 1997, provides a distinctive occasion for consecrated individuals worldwide to unite.

In keeping with tradition, Archbishop Christian Lépine invited the Gospel-makers of our diocese to join him for a time of celebration and prayer at the start of the new year, held last January 10, 11 and 13.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity [WPCU] is an annual global ecumenical celebration (traditionally held January 18-25 in the northern hemisphere).
