Montreal

The World Day for Consecrated Life, instituted by Pope John Paul II in 1997, provides a distinctive occasion for consecrated individuals worldwide to unite. This year, the Office for Consecrated Life has selected Saturday, February 3, 2024, starting at 10:30 a.m., for a special Eucharistic celebration presided over by Archbishop Christian Lépine at Marie-Reine-Du-Monde Cathedral. It will be a momentous occasion to honor and celebrate the inspirational dedication of our consecrated brothers and sisters in the Archdiocese of Montreal.

Under the theme "Consecrated Life in the Service of Society," this day will be a chance not only for them to gather among themselves but also to celebrate together with the wider community. It's a unique opportunity to discover these generous women and men who continue to dedicate their lives to our Church and society, contributing to the well-being of many.

Join us in celebrating this special occasion: let's express our gratitude to those who consecrate themselves, let's pray together for their well-being, let's unite our prayers for new vocations, let's invite new generations to discover the richness of consecrated life.
