More than thirty bishops have already announced their participation in Bishop-elect Faubert's episcopal ordination on June 15, 2016, 7:30 p.m. at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

The celebration, which is being held in the context of the Diocesan Patronal Feast, will be presided by our Archbishop, Most Reverend Christian Lépine, assisted by Bishop Thomas Dowd, Auxiliary Bishop, and Bishop Judes Saint-Antoine, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus.

The Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, Archbishop Luigi Bonazzi, the Bishop of Mont-Laurier and President of the Assembly of Quebec Catholic Bishops, Bishop Paul Lortie, the Bishop of Saint-Jean-Longueuil and Vice-President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, Bishop Lionel Gendron as well as the Archbishop of Québec, Gérald Cardinal Lacroix will also be attending.

Hundreds of faithful from throughout the Archdiocese are expected to be joining the family and friends of the new Auxiliary Bishop for the celebration that will also bring together many members of the Saint-Germain d'Outremont Christian community, fellow priests and deacons, pastoral agents, and people of consecrated life.

Bishop Faubert's appointment as Auxiliary Bishop of Montreal was announced on April 19, 2016.
