Following the CCCB's publication of the Pastoral Letter to Young People on October 12, 2022, the Permanent Council, at its March 2024 meeting, approved the publication of a User's Guide to facilitate reflection on this letter (see attached PDF).

On Ascension Thursday, May 9^th, Pope Francis proclaimed the upcoming Jubilee Year 2025 with a public decree, or papal bull, opening with its theme “Hope does not disappoint.”

Congratulations to our director, Liam Farrer who was just appointed a full member of The Lutheran Church Canada-Roman Catholic dialogue by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Episcopal Commission for Christian Unity, Religious Relations with the Jews and Interfaith Dialogue.

On Saturday, May 4, our annual meeting for volunteers who provide ‘support for our priests’ throughout the year, was held in the parish hall of Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.
