Montreal

The Office for Consecrated Life, in collaboration with Mission chez nous, has coordinated a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha on Saturday, September 23, 2023. A shuttle bus will be provided on the day to drive participants to and from the site.

This event represents an opportunity for consecrated men and women to gather in a spirit of fellowship and prayer and at the same time to carry on the pilgrimage initiated by Pope Francis in the course of his visit to Canada and in response to his call to come together with Indigenous peoples.

In order the better to equip those taking part in this activity, two virtual information sessions will be given, one before and one after the pilgrimage, to foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous peoples and their realities. A Zoom link will be provided in advance permitting access to the sessions, which will be held on the following dates:

  1. Tuesday, September 12, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, on Zoom.

  2. Saturday, October 21, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, on Zoom.

Please note that the number of places is limited. Kindly complete your registration for the pilgrimage at: https://forms.office.com/r/HhbfK2hZ3s
