General

Have you heard of an Atrium, this place where children come to fall in love with Jesus? Come and find out all about this dynamic approach known as the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.

Children have rich spiritual lives and the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd builds on this richness.

Have you heard about this particular approach to evangelization? Have you heard of an "Atrium", a place where children come to fall in love with Jesus?

Based on the educational approach of Maria Montessori, it is a special place specifically designed for them, where they are given the richness of our faith, they read directly from the scriptures, and come to learn all about the liturgy.

We will be welcoming Susan Perna and Theresa Wright from the Canadian Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for a "Seed Planting" session.

It is an important approach for the evangelization not only of children and their parents, but also of youth, young adults, and volunteers of all ages who come to fall in love with Jesus, the Good Shepherd, in this space called the Atrium.

Everyone who desires to communicate the richness of our faith to the next generation is most welcome!

We hope to begin an English language Atrium in Montreal in the Fall 2018.
