Rediscovering Amoris Laetitia: A Webinar-Workshop by Carrefour Intervocationnel
Montreal
On January 27–28, 2026, the Carrefour Intervocationnel hosted a webinar-workshop dedicated to Amoris Laetitia, Pope Francis’ landmark Apostolic Exhortation. Released in 2016 following two synods on the pastoral challenges facing families, the document invites a deep reflection on pastoral care for marriage, couples, and family life.
The webinar aimed to introduce participants to the range of resources available on the Carrefour website under the “Dossiers” section. The Amoris Laetitia dossier includes a video, visual summaries highlighting twenty key passages, and several articles exploring how the document has been received since its publication. It also outlines principal critiques, the Pope’s responses, and concludes with suggested readings for further study and interpretation.
The workshop itself took the form of an interactive online quiz, encouraging participants to distinguish fact from misconception through a series of statements. This engaging format allowed attendees to review all chapters of Amoris Laetitia, identifying its essential teachings.
By participating in this session, participants gained a clearer understanding of this foundational document, equipping them to enrich their pastoral work in accompanying couples and families.
