On September 12, 2025, Jonathan Baker was ordained a transitional deacon for the Archdiocese of Montreal at St. Thomas à Becket Parish in Pierrefonds. The celebration was presided by Archbishop Christian Lépine.

Jonathan’s vocational journey has been marked by years of contemplative formation, studies in philosophy in Canada and the United States, and formation at the Grand Séminaire de Montréal — leading to his pastoral internship at St. Thomas à Becket Parish.
