It is with great joy that we announce that, during a celebration on Wednesday, November 27, at 7:00 p.m., at the Chapel of the Grand Seminary of the Archdiocese of Montreal (6895 Boyer Street), Paul-Émile Durand and Félix Lamontagne will be instituted as lectors, while Brother Jeremy-Marie Joly, F.E., of the Franciscans of the Emmanuel, and Hugues Gagnon Boisvert will be instituted as acolytes.

These ministries mark significant steps on the journey toward the priesthood. The ministry of lector entrusts those called with the mission of proclaiming God’s Word during liturgy and reflecting on it deeply to live its message fully.

The ministry of acolyte invites them to serve more closely at the altar and to assist the priest in the celebration of the Eucharist—a visible sign of growing commitment to the service of Christ and His Church.
