Pilgrimage with Archbishop Christian Lépine – Joyful Witnesses of Hope
Dear Catechists, Youth Ministry Leaders, and all involved in faith formation for every age group,
In the spirit of the World Youth Day theme and our shared mission to be joyful witnesses of hope, we are delighted to invite you to a unique pilgrimage with Archbishop Christian Lépine—a journey thoughtfully designed for those who dedicate their lives to guiding and accompanying young people in the faith.
This pilgrimage, taking place July 10–24, 2026, offers an opportunity for deep personal renewal, ongoing formation, and spiritual encouragement. As catechists and pastoral leaders, we know that to guide others effectively, we ourselves must be nourished. Together, we will walk in the footsteps of saints, educators, and witnesses whose lives continue to inspire the Church and all who serve young people.
Our journey will take us through some of Italy’s most spiritually rich cities, where faith, beauty, and history converge:
- Padua, home of St. Anthony, a model of powerful preaching and compassionate service
- Turin, shaped by St. John Bosco and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, passionate witnesses devoted to young people and social transformation
- Siena, birthplace of St. Catherine of Siena, fearless woman of faith and Doctor of the Church
- Assisi, where St. Francis and St. Clare remind us of the joy and simplicity of the Gospel, and where St. Carlo Acutis—an inspiring model of modern holiness—rests
- Florence, a city shaped by Christian art and brilliant theology
- Rome, the heart of the universal Church, enriched by the inspiring witness of St. Carlo Acutis
…and much more.
Through prayer, shared Eucharist, guided spiritual reflection, and moments of fellowship, this pilgrimage provides a sacred space to reconnect with the source of your mission and rediscover the joy of accompanying young people with renewed hope and conviction.
