The morning will begin with a Mass presided over by Archbishop Christian Lépine, followed by a convivial breakfast.

We will have the pleasure of welcoming Sister Chantal Desmarais, a nun who is both atypical and fascinating. She joined the Sisters of Charity of Saint Mary (Marie-Clarac) in 1981 after considering enlisting in the Canadian Armed Forces, and completed her education at McGill University. Co-leader at the Bienheureuse Émilie-Gamelin parish (St-Lin, St-Calixte, and La Plaine) by day and karate instructor by night, she is a black belt and known as Sensei Chantal.

Her dynamism, creativity, and depth have led her to play a leading role in the synodal process: participation in the opening of the Synod in October 2021, in the continental synthesis in February 2023, and selection among the 70 non-bishop members of the Synod on Synodality in October 2023 and October 2024.
