Christmas Benefit Concert performed by the Choir of Communion and Liberation Montreal. We invite you to prepare to welcome Christmas during this evening of music accompanied by meditations on the mystery of the Nativity. All proceedings will go to the Commissariat of the Holy Land in Canada which is the Canadian office of the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land located in Jerusalem and which serves the Church throughout Israel, Palestine, and surrounding countries.

Amidst all of the hardship, chaos and poverty in Haiti there is hope and faith.

The Jesuits of Canada and Haiti cordially invite you to a heartfelt gathering in support of our ongoing mission in Haiti on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the historic Gesú Church in Montreal.

This special day will be a celebration of faith and solidarity, beginning with Mass at 11 a.m., followed by a light luncheon & featuring performances by the esteemed Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal.

This event, “A Celebration of French Language Song,” will be led by Michel Guimont, Director of Music at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ottawa, along with organist Matthew Larkin, who is one of Canada’s most in-demand concert performers and liturgical musicians. As The Hymn Society gathers in Montréal, it extends a warm welcome to the local community to come and join in song. This free event is part of The Hymn Society's Annual Conference being held 16-19 July at McGill University.
