Cathy Macaulay of SASMAD, the Diocesan Pastoral Home Care Services, will present information about home visits. For people who bring communion to people who are unable to come to Mass and for those interested in finding out about spiritual visits to the sick, the elderly and others who are homebound. Saturday, June 7, 3-4:30pm, in the Parish Hall.

On Thursday May 22, a multilingual solemn mass in Saint Rita’s honour will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m., including benediction with Saint Rita’s relic. The church will be open ALL DAY for visits, starting with the 8:00 a.m. morning mass. Blessed roses and souvenirs will be available throughout the day. All are welcome.

On the occasion of Yom Hashoah, the Christian Jewish Dialogue of Montreal (Canada) invites Christian communities to join their Jewish brothers and sisters in remembrance and prayer, by commemorating the Holocaust during their religious services on Sunday April 27, 2025 (Sunday of Mercy in the Catholic Church). Suggested elements - introduction, testimony, commemorative rite, songs, poems and prayers can be used for in person or online service.

Celebration at which the Archbishop meets adult candidates preparing for Confirmation, as well as those asking for Full Communion, those accompanying them and their catechists.

During this celebration, the catechumen is officially called by the bishop to receive the sacraments of Christian initiation at the Easter Vigil. This is a diocesan celebration. It brings together the catechumens, their catechumenate guides and their godparents, who will give their testimony on behalf of their godchild.
