Clergy and faithful gathered to celebrate unity, renew priestly commitments, and bless the holy oils.

On April 1st, 2026, our diocesan community gathered for the Chrism Mass. A profound moment of communion, as priests renewed their promises and the holy oils were blessed and consecrated for the coming year. A sign of unity in mission and faith across our Church.

On Sunday, February 15, Archbishop Christian Lépine visited De-La-Salle Residence, where the day began with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Archbishop and enriched by beautiful music. In his homily, he highlighted that consecrated life is a total dedication to God and a living witness of faith expressed through commitment to Christian values. The gathering continued with inspiring testimonies from brothers who shared their vocation journeys and missions, followed by a time of fraternal exchange. The visit concluded with a festive lunch, celebrated in a spirit of gratitude and fraternity for the mission of consecrated persons.

On Monday, February 3, Archbishop Christian Lépine visited the Square Angus Apartments, a residence that brings together about a dozen religious communities of both women and men. In a warm and simple atmosphere, the Archbishop personally welcomed each sister at the entrance of the chapel. Marked by songs and symbolic gestures of light, the gathering was an opportunity for him to thank the consecrated men and women for their past missions and to encourage them in their present mission of prayer and faithful presence. The visit concluded with a final blessing and a friendly moment shared over refreshments.

On Friday, February 6, Archbishop Christian Lépine visited the Bon-Secours Residence in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, accompanied by members of the Office for Consecrated Life. After greeting the sisters in the infirmary and signing the residence’s guest book, he met with about sixty sisters to share encouraging news about the quiet but real return of young people to the Church, a renewal he linked to the fruits of past prayers and missions. The visit continued with a joyful Mass celebrated with the community, followed by a festive meal during which the Archbishop took time to greet each table and speak personally with the sisters.
