On May 26, 2026, the community of St. Luke Parish in Dollard-des-Ormeaux gathered in large numbers to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary in a celebration marked by faith, recollection, and prayer, which began with a procession and Rosary and continued through Mass and Eucharistic Adoration.

One of the most moving moments of the celebration occurred when Father Stéphane Germain, assistant priest, crowned the Blessed Virgin Mary, recalling her role as Queen of Heaven and loving Mother of the Church.

The evening continued with Mass, concelebrated by Frs. Germain and David Oh, who also serves as assistant priest, inviting the faithful to renew their trust in Mary’s maternal intercession and to deepen their life of prayer.

The evening concluded in quiet recollection with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, offering those present the opportunity to encounter Christ in the Eucharist and to entrust their intentions to Him.

The Heralds of the Gospel, an international Catholic lay association of pontifical right dedicated to the Eucharist, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and fidelity to the Church, helped organize this Marian celebration and thank St. Luke Parish, its volunteers, the celebrating priests, and all the faithful who contributed to its success.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to protect our families, parish, and community, and lead us ever closer to her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
