Where There Is Dignity, We Are There: The 2026 Annual Campaign
Montreal
In this Easter season, the Archdiocese of Montreal launches its 2026 annual campaign under the theme "Where There Is Dignity, We Are There," an invitation to recognize and support a presence lived out every day at the heart of our communities.
Throughout Montreal, men and women are committed to welcoming, accompanying, and supporting people in moments that can define or shape their lives. In the course of this campaign, we met the people who, together with the Church, help bring support to those in need. Whether through youth ministry, care for the sick and elderly, the welcome of newcomers, or support for the most vulnerable, the Church is present wherever human dignity needs to be recognized and upheld.
This campaign goes well beyond a fundraising drive. It is an invitation to take part in a mission already at work, one rooted in tangible acts of love, compassion, and solidarity. In these everyday encounters, dignity does not remain an abstract idea: it is lived, shared, and it helps transform lives.
Carried by the light of Easter, this initiative reminds us that every person is precious in God's eyes. Through their generosity, the faithful enable the Catholic Church in Montreal to remain close, attentive, and engaged, in service of those in need.
Every gesture counts. Every gift helps sustain this presence, nourishes hope, and affirms: "You belong. You matter."
