The "Cry from the Heart" emergency campaign, launched by ⁠Mond'Ami, the Pontifical Society for Missionary Childhood in French-speaking Canada, has raised nearly $280,000 in its first year.

The Sisters of the ⁠Congrégation de Notre-Dame gathered in Montreal from July 12 to 23 for their 99th General Chapter, a significant time for discernment, reflection, and governance held every five years.

The Holy Family of Bordeaux is celebrating 125 years of missionary presence in Canada (1901-2026). This is a year of thanksgiving for the entire spiritual family of Pierre Bienvenu Noailles, who arrived in Canada from France on September 16, 1901.

Organized by the Archdiocese of Montreal’s Office for Cultural and Ritual Communities, the musical Per terre lontane was presented as an initiative to raise awareness about the realities of migration, welcome, and solidarity.

On July 16, more than 500 people from around the world came together online for a webinar dedicated to the dignity and rights of migrants — a moment of shared reflection, and also a concrete call to pastoral and political action.
