More than 80 people gathered together on Saturday morning, Jan. 26, at St. Thomas à Becket Parish on the West Island to carry the momentum sparked by the November Parish Vitality Conference. The event drew in participants from 16 Montreal parishes, ten of which were English language communities. Pastors and leaders of movements and organizations from within and beyond the diocese of Montreal were also in attendance.

A very unique Sunday meal was served on January 13 at l’Accueil Bonneau: a festive meal for the new year and the feast of the Three Kings, served by numerous volunteers, as well as by Monseigneur Lépine and Montreal mayor Valérie Plante.

Sunday October 28, 2018, les soeurs missionnaires du Christ-Roi celebrated the 90th anniversary of their congregation’s foundation. For this special occasion, Monseigneur Lépine joined them to celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving in the lovely chapel of their mother house in Laval.
