The Diocesan Centre for Marriage, Life and Family is happy to share some resources with you for Quebec Family Week and the National Week for Life and Family. The theme is "Being there for the family, the Domestic Church".
We have all experienced this year, through the pandemic, of how much our families became the privileged place for living and celebrating our faith. We hope that this theme will resonate with you too!

It is also a special time in the Church, with three special celebrations: Year of Laudato Si’, Year of St. Joseph and Year of Amoris Laetitia. Our resources have been created and selected around these themes.

2- Mass for Life
A special Mass for Life was celebrated by Archbishop Christian Lépine on Sunday, April 25, at 5pm at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral in anticipation for the National March for Life. This mass was celebrated in French. All are welcome to watch the video of the homily and pray for the dignity of all human life! 3- Resources for prayer and celebration from the National Office for Life and Family

4- Transform your Family Culture
As part of the Quebec Family Week, the Diocesan Centre for Marriage, Life and Family is happy to invite all parents to a workshop on family culture. In this workshop, Ms. Talitha Cere, culture consultant and certified coach for organizations and families, will guide us in evaluating our behaviors and decisions so we can gain insight into having a more satisfying family life. 5- Retreat day

The TPPF (Table provinciale de pastorale familiale) invites everyone to a retreat day by Zoom on Tuesday, May 11, from 9am to 4pm. The theme of this retreat will be “Mission famille: accueillir, accompagner, discerner, intégrer” and it will be led, in French only, by Mgr Christian Rodembourg, Bishop of Saint-Hyacinthe. Do you like cookies? Do you like to bake? Then this project is for you! This fun activity was proposed by the CECC. Great for families with children, young or old.

Let's get outside and enjoy nature with this special nature scavenger hunt! Spend some quality time together outside and challenge yourself and your children while learning to pay attention to God's gift of creation. Share it with other families in your parish and join up on Zoom after to share about the experience! |
