To kick off Québec Waste Reduction Week, come and
find out how people who live in marginalized
communities in the Philippines are offering real
solutions to environmental pollution caused by the
burning of waste materials in metropolitan cities. Brex
Arevalo will highlight how these communities can offer
ecologically just (and uncomplicated!) alternatives to
the industrial incineration practices in metropolis
cities. Only with the margins at the centre can we get
out of the Wild Wild Waste!
