The Catholic Women's League (CWL) of Montreal is holding 12 Hours of Prayer for Palliative Care on Friday, May 4th, 2018, at Saint Patrick's Basilica.

The Archdiocese of Montreal announced the appointment of Laura Rochford as Financial Administrator. Ms. Rochford assumes her new duties effective April 24, 2018, succeeding Benoît Cardin, who has been appointed director of the recently created Office for Development and Planned Giving.

Along with nine other Concordia University alumni, Bishop Thomas Dowd has been recognized with the 2018 John F. Lemieux Medal. This distinction is presented to members of the Concordia community whose trailblazing spirit and forward-looking approach in the pursuit of excellence challenges current-day boundaries.

To support its mission of evangelization and after consulting the groups concerned, Archbishop Christian Lépine has issued a diocesan decree establishing the Office for Development and Planned Giving.
