It is with deep regret that the Archbishop of Montreal, Most Reverend Christian Lépine, announces the death of his predecessor, Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte, on April 8, 2015. He was 78 years old.

(Vatican Radio) Tens of thousands of people gathered in Saint Peter's Square on Sunday morning, despite the cold and the rain, to take part in Solemn Mass with Pope Francis in celebration of Easter. Following the Liturgy, the Holy Father gave the traditional Blessing Urbi et Orbi - to the City [of Rome] and to the World.

More than 500 people responded to the call of Communion and Liberation (CL) to participate in the Good Friday Way of the Cross through the streets of downtown Montreal, guided by our Archbishop, Most Rev. Christian Lépine.

The Office for Pastoral Personnel is offering an information session on Thursday, May 7, 6 pm at the Archdiocese of Montreal for men 55 years and younger who are discerning a call to follow Jesus as permanent deacons.
