Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Fr. George S. Oakes who was called home to the Father on, Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 75.

Ordained to the priesthood November 4,1978, Fr. Oakes' 40 years of ministry include serving as curate at Resurrection of Our Lord, two brief postings at St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. John Brébeuf, and pastor of St. Thomas More for the past 29 years.

Our most sincere sympathies to the parishioners of St. Thomas More Parish for the loss of their good and faithful shepherd.
Our condolences also go out to Fr. Oakes' family and friends for their loss.
