WORLD YOUTH DAY MONTREAL 2017



Join hundreds of young people on April 8 at the World Youth Day Montreal 2017 celebration!
In this jubilee year of Montreal’s 375th anniversary, young people of Ville-Marie are invited to explore God’s action in their own lives, through Mary’s timeless words: “The Mighty One has done great things for me; and holy is His name” (Lk 1:49).  The day’s line-up includes our annual Youth Festival, Mini-Pilgrimage and WYD Mass. NET CANADA IN MONTREAL NEXT MONTH

DSA (Do Something Amazing) Retreats are annual retreats that occur all across Canada. Conducted by NET Staff members, young adults are invited to a 24-hour overnight retreat experience where they can be equipped with tools for youth ministry and evangelization, learn what it means to be a missionary, and experience how NET is something truly amazing. It’s Montreal’s turn March 10-11, 2017! YOUTH MINISTRY: ALLEZ-GO SESSION ON CONFLICT MANAGEMENT

Come join us at the next Allez-Go session on Saturday, February 4 from 9am-12:30pm (2000 Sherbrooke St., Montreal) and discover ways to best respond to, resolve and regulate group and individual dynamics! It is important when leading, participating or overseeing any group to be well-prepared for potential conflicts, unforeseen events, possible emergencies and to ask ourselves: “what would Jesus do?”. ALPHA YOUTH DAY: RUNALPHA FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

RunAlpha for the Next Generation is specifically designed to engage and equip youth workers and young people to run the Alpha Youth Film Series for their friends in any setting. Hear from Marie-Astrid Dubant, Alpha Regional Director for Quebec on Thursday, October 13, 10am-3:30pm (2000 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal).

CALLING ALL YOUTH MINISTRY LEADERS!

The Youth Ministry Office invites Youth Ministers from the Archdiocese of Montreal to four meetings per year. This is an opportunity to network, to share resources, build communion and better enable ourselves to respond more dynamically to the mission of evangelization in our city. You are invited to a special launch evening on Tuesday, September 27, 6pm dinner and 7pm meeting, at the Archdiocese of Montreal (2000 Sherbrooke St. West). New participants are always welcome! MISSION JEUNESSE-YOUTH MINISTRY: GATHERING FOR YOUTH MINISTERS

Archbishop Christian Lépine and the Youth Ministry team invite all youth ministers for an evening communion, fellowship, prayer to better enable ourselves to respond more dynamically to the mission of evangelization in our city. We welcome youth ministers and young leaders who work with teens (13-17yrs) and/or young adults (18-35 yrs). Join us on Tuesday, May 10 (2000 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal). YOUTH MINISTRY: WORLD YOUTH DAY INFO SESSION

For over 20 years, International World Youth Day has been an event lived in communion, in fellowship and in the diversity and universality of the Church, and most certainly is an invitation to encounter Christ in communion with the Holy Father. An initiative of blessed Saint John Paul II, WYD has transformed the faith life of generations of youth and permitted a renewal within the Church. MONTREAL CHALLENGE WEEKEND

The Montreal Catholic Challenge Movement warmly welcomes all young adults ages 18-25 to join us for our upcoming Challenge Weekend from 7pm, Friday, October 23 to 5pm, Sunday, October 25 at St. Willibrord Parish (351 St. Willibrord St., Verdun) near Verdun metro. The mission of Challenge is to bring young adults into communion with Christ. The weekend will be a time to grow in our faith and experience Christian life with fellow young disciples.
