INVITATION TO ALL THE NEWLY BAPTIZED

A warm welcome is extended to families, sponsors and church communities for The Neophyte’s Mass to be held on Sunday, April 17, 11am at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral (1085 rue de la Cathédrale, Montreal). Neophytes will each be handed a white stole, symbolizing the white garment received at Easter. During Mass, Archbishop Christian Lépine will ask the newly baptized to give up the stole and take their place as full-fledged members of the Church, with nothing to differentiate them from their Christian brothers and sisters. Neophytes are asked to arrive before 10:45am and go to the table at the main doors of the Cathedral (René-Lévesque entrance) to receive their white stole and sign in. In order to prepare for this event, all those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP before Wednesday, April 6 at oeps@diocesemontreal.org We look forward to seeing everyone there, including those who are celebrating their first anniversary of their baptism.
