ST. WILLIBRORD PARISH: 2015 RAFFLE TO SERVE THE POOR

Get your tickets now! Help support those in need in our community. Tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5, and 6 for $10. First prize is $1000, second prize is $500, and third prize is $250. All funds raised will go towards our Soup Kitchen and Christmas Baskets to feed the less fortunate in Verdun. Draw will take place on Saturday, December 19. PASTORAL HOME CARE SERVICES (SASMAD): AFTERNOON AT THE MOVIES

Pastoral Home Care Services invites you to view and discuss a very provocative film about a family dealing with early-onset dementia, entitled Still Alice. BOWLING FUNDRAISER AND RELIGIOUS CHRISTMAS CARDS CATALOGUE: F.E.C.U.

Come with your family and friends to a relaxing afternoon of bowling on Sunday, November 15, 1pm at the Laurentian Lanes (222 Montée-de-Liesse, St-Laurent). ST. MONICA PARISH: CARE FOR THE SICK AND DYING, A MISSION OF MERCY

We sometimes hear euthanasia and assisted suicide described as “mercy-killing”. Palliative care invites us to truly care for the chronically or terminally ill with compassion, to relieve their suffering, and ultimately prepare them for their journey home. Join Deacon Richard Haber, M.D. and a panel of invited guests on Saturday, November 14 from 10am-12pm (6405 de Terrebonne St., Montreal) to learn about this merciful way of caring for the sick and dying. PASTORAL HOME CARE SERVICES (SASMAD): PILGRIMAGE

For all volunteers and friends of PHC (SASMAD), a full-day pilgrimage will be offered to the Val Notre-Dame Monastery in St-Jean de Matha on Wednesday, November 11. A visit to the monastery, time for meditation and adoration, and a visit to the monks’ store will be included in the day’s itinerary. Cost is $30. Please bring a lunch. WOMEN’S DAY RETREAT

For over 20 years, International World Youth Day has been an event lived in communion, in fellowship and in the diversity and universality of the Church, and most certainly is an invitation to encounter Christ in communion with the Holy Father.
