Jesus Light of the World Parish: Transportation to Corpus Christi 2014

Everyone is invited to join us! A bus will depart on Thursday, June 19 at 6:15pm from St. David Church (12450 Gascon St., Pierrefonds). Transportation will be provided from St. David Church to Notre-Dame Basilica and from St. Patrick`s Basilica following the Benediction. Cost is $10. Limited seating available. The Columbian Squires: Spaghetti Night Fundraiser

The Squires is an international fraternity of approximately 25,000 young Catholic men, ages 10 to 18, in over 1,500 circles worldwide. These circles are sponsored by local Knights of Columbus councils and assemblies. The Squires involve young men in programs to benefit the Church, the community, as well as in recreational and social activities. All are welcome on Saturday, June 7, 6:30pm (5740-15th Ave., Montreal) to a delicious pasta and chicken dinner hosted by the Squires. Cost is $15, which also includes salad, coffee, water and dessert. Bring your own wine. Soft drinks available for $1. All proceeds will go to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. St. Willibrord Parish: Healing Mass

Everyone is most welcome on Friday, June 6, 7pm (351 Willibrord St., Verdun), with Fr. Michael McKenna as celebrant and Fr. Gregory Nunez as concelebrant. The evening will begin with the rosary followed by Mass. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available and Anointing of the Sick will be administered following Mass. Notre-Dame Basilica: Featuring the Lynnfield Middle School Pioneer Singers

The Lynnfield Middle School Pioneer Singers are advanced singers and musical ambassadors of Lynnfield Middle School near Boston. They sang in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York (2000, 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2009); Casa Loma in Toronto, Kimball Theatre in Williamsburg; Notre-Dame Basilica and Christ Church, Montreal; King’s Chapel and First Church of Christ of Boston and for the Red Sox Boston Baseball team. All are welcome to their performance on Monday, June 2 at 1pm (116 Notre-Dame St. West, Montreal). St. Joseph`s Oratory: Dom Bellot Exhibit

Currently open until October 13, 2014, the latest exhibit at the Oratory Museum, Dom Bellot, Master Builder for Saint Joseph attempts to highlight the exceptional contribution to Montreal architecture made by this French Benedictine monk of international repute. Thanks to the Oratory archives and in collaboration with the Abbey Saint-Benoît-du-Lac, you will be able to examine many objects and documents never before exhibited.
