This year again, Mr Pierre Dubreuil, Senior Vice-President, Commercial Banking, National Bank of Canada, has accepted to preside the Annual Collection. He has offered his support and collaboration in obtaining donations primarily from the business sector, with which he is familiar.

A media campaign will publicize this year’s financial appeal, in the hope of reaching a wider public and to raise the awareness of many to the work and mission of the Church.

The annual diocesan collection is an opportunity to remind each other of the presence of the Church in our society, and to recognize all the good that our Church accomplishes in our parishes through the many organizations dedicated to social and charitable objectives. This appeal allows us to acknowledge the large number of faithful who participate actively in proclaiming the Good News, and we want to highlight these commitments.

To appeal to a wider public, this year’s publicity was once again graciously donated by BOS and it invites us to be generous in the spirit of Christ who has already given! None of our advertising spots is purchased. Our campaign enjoys a high profile status, thanks to the support of several media outlets that so graciously provide their services.

We also count on the generosity and availability of numerous volunteers from parish congregations, as well as from the business community, all of whom believe it is important to support the Catholic Church of Montreal.

A variety of contribution methods are made available, making life simpler and allowing you, the donor, to achieve your personal objectives. Please feel free to contact us, as together we can find the donation method most convenient for you.
